I will never forget the moment when during a night walk we discovered a most beautiful poison dart frog in the Amazon rainforest, and got all so excited about this so tiny and fragile creature. It was simply breathtaking...

My wife Cristina and I visited Yasuni National Park with guides Pauly Romero and Jose Vieira in November of 2015. At first, I didn't feel we needed a guide for what we wanted to do. However, after comparing resort prices and "touristy itineraries", we decided that having the dedicated guide services of Tropical Herping at this remote location was a no brainer! I truly feel that they provide more value than any other Amazon tour group that I am aware of.

As both a herpetologist and a photographer, an opportunity to visit Yasuni on a reptile photo shoot with Tropical Herping was a dream come true... With their help and advice I took some of the best reptile and amphibian shots in a photo library stretching back more than a decade, as well as simply seeing some fantastic animals in this great location and in the company of great guys.
